Drummer Boy for Waterloo

from The Awkward Recruit by Mawkin:Causley

/

about

Jim Causley learnt this from Chris and Helen Heaviside, a brilliant mediaeval duo who can be found haunting the great castles and ruins of England under the name of Hautbois. The tune that sandwiches the song is 'The Great Cat of Catford' by James Delarre named after South London's most important landmark.
